Getting Started with Kodu Game Lab
Kodu is a a great video game design tool that is easy to start using. However, in order to get the most out of the game, you'll want to learn about some important tools. This video below is a very helpful tutorial to get you up and running. Follow along with this video as Steven (a Kodu developer) guides you through building your first Kodu game!

Documenting Your Work
Since you are using a Windows computer, you can't do the typical CMD+SHIFT+4 to take a picture. Instead you'll need to use one of the two options below:
  • PrtScn Keyboard Key - This key can be found on the top section of most Windows keyboards. Since you are using a Mac keyboard, you'll need to instead press the F14 button (I've labeled it for you!). When you press this key, you'll have the opportunity to drag a selection window across the part of the screen you want saved (just like on the Mac side). Click on the green checkmark and your screenshot will save to the desktop!
  • Snipping Tool - This is an application that can be opened from the Windows Start Menu. Once you open it, you merely need to click on the window you want a picture of and it will take a screenshot for you. You'll need to then save the picture to the desktop (or your server folder) by clicking on the save icon.
